Guideline was founded with this mission, but that’s not where our story begins. That happened when our CEO, Kevin Busque, noticed that young employees weren’t participating in his company’s 401(k). To find out why, he did some digging and found an industry full of complicated fees that lacked transparency.
Kevin then searched for a new provider with the right structure and features—one that would help, not hinder, participants achieve positive outcomes. That 401(k) provider didn’t exist. So Kevin, along with his co-founders, built one—an easy, affordable retirement platform that prioritized the needs of small business owners and their employees. And Guideline was born.
